It is important to remember that during your time at the festival you are a representative of the COVEN Film Festival. The following are guidelines and standards that we will expect from all employees, guests, attendees and volunteers.

Guidelines and Standards

We're committed to making every COVEN Film Festival a safe and productive environment for everyone.

  • Harassment, discrimination, racism, sexism, ageism, or being inconsiderate or vulgar.

  • Carrying or displaying a weapon of any kind, real or toy.

  • Indecent exposure

  • Operating a cell phone or electronic light-emitting device during a film or event.

  • Disrupting a film or event.

  • Damaging or attempting to vandalize Festival venues.

  • Smoking, including electronic cigarettes or smokeless tobacco.

By entering our venues you agree to:

  • Be kind and courteous to all guests and staff.

  • Limit movement in and out of your seat during films.

  • Avoid obstructing the view of other audience members.

  • Be courteous to venue neighbors when entering and leaving, especially late at night.

  • Be respectful if another guest asks you to stop what they feel is intimidating or harassing behavior.

  • Consume alcoholic beverages only in a responsible manner.

  • Comply with requests from Festival staff.

Our entire code of conduct comes down to this: Be polite and respect each others' boundaries. We want to foster a fun and social atmosphere where people can chat with their favorite directors, writers, and actors. COVEN is a place to make connections, find support, and build community.
